I woke up from a strange dream, the dream was about my guinea pigs I used to have when I was younger the dog we had and the cats rabbits and hamsters.

It was very strange, I was walking through a field and came across a beautiful cottage, an old lady invited me in to have a cup of tea, in the dream she was talking about animals and took me to see her animals, in the lounge there were all my animals I had when I was younger, looking very fit and healthy, all my animals died of old age apart from one guinea pig, he got an eye infection and went blind and died shortly after his treatment, in the dream his eyes were bright as buttons.

Its amazing after 30 years for all these animals to appear at once in a dream, some I’d even forgot about, t wasn’t a scary dream, have any of you had dreams like that?

Another funny thing about it is that I’m almost blind, but I could see everything so clearly in the dream.

I had a dream last night about my Bunkey who passed away a year ago. I got to see her again, and I was so happy.

Usually my bunny dreams are pretty scary, though. I often have nightmares about not being able to find them. In many of my dreams, my bunny multiplies into a hundred bunnies and I can’t find her amongst all the bunnies!

That must be nice, having good dreams, or a dream that isn’t considered a bad dream. I don’t remember having one good dream in my life, I guess it’s just me. Even when one of my dreams start nice, they always end wrong. It’s not like I hate dreams, I enjoy them, even when they’re bad. The dream realm just doesn’t like me that much… Sadly… So any who, I’m trying to lucid dream! It’s a dream where I know I’m dreaming, and can control it. Not successful yet, has anyone been able to lucid dream?

Lucid dreaming is so rewarding, but really difficult. My therapist taught me how to lucid dream. I can’t really explain how to do it. It’s honestly like a feeling. As soon as I start feeling consciousness, that’s when I start. I’ve always had night terrors (victim of PTSD and neglectful parents). When I turned 21 I went back to therapy, and it made a world of difference, including the sleep department. Don’t take melatonin if you want to lucid dream because it won’t work.

Yea, I’ve watched many videos and guides on lucid dreaming. Trying to get my sleeping habits normal, it’s hard cause I love staying up late, and I love waking up early to give me spare time in the morning to do stuff before school. Do you have any advise or tips of some sort for lucid dreaming, or how to help start it?

Get a watch or something that has a gentle buzz. It’ll start bringing you out of that unconscious state of mind and you’ll be alert if you are in a dream. Also a sound machine that you could program to come on at a specific time and make sure the noise is gentle, just barely enough to make you slightly aware of waking up.
I have a Fitbit that I program to go off at a specific time if I’d like it to. It’s a very gentle buzz on my wrist. It gets me into that lucid state easily.
