Hello! My rabbit has had flees for about 2 months and I feel like, despite revolution treatment, the flees are more than before. What are some safe flee sprays and treatments I could apply to his cage and my home.

Note: I’ve been combing though his fur and plucking out flees daily.

        Thanks!

Diatomaceous earth (food grade!) is safe to apply to your home and around his cage to kill fleas.

You might also try advantage if revolution isn’t working, as your fleas might have become resistant.

How many doses have you given? Rabbits can metabolize Revolution very quickly. I agree that if Revolution isn’t working, Advantage might be worth a try. Ivermectin may be an option too.

Diatomaceous earth is safe. But I would avoid putting your rabbit in a position where they could inhale the powder. If it were me, I’d treat the area without bunny in it.

And now, for a public service announcement…
Never use Frontline or fipronil-containing products on rabbits. It is toxic.

Not saying anyone in this thread would. But I want it there just in case this thread shows up in a Google search.
