Bunny no. 3

I know it’s not the most sensible idea, so no need to tell me… But I’m in love, so here we are… It was considered long and hard, before reason gave way. 

Any of you that follow my insta might have already seen him, and the wish for names!

He’s living in the bedroom, and Luna and Atlas have their usual run of the living room. So far, they don’t seem to have noticed strange bunny smells, which I’m pleased about, since Luna went crazy as soon as we brought Atlas home. Hopefully she’s feeling more secure now she’s bonded. I’m hoping that one day they will be a trio, but obviously that’s still a long way off.

He’s an 11 week old lionhead, and an accidental dwarf, which is why he looks so small. However, he’s eating, drinking, and pooping more than you would have thought was possible.

Name suggestions for the little puffball welcome. At the moment, I’m stuck on Nimbus or Ghost.

Oh my good grief he is adorable. I like the names Snowglobe, Cotton ball, Coconut (I don’t know why), Binky & Monkey.

Isn’t he <3 Coconut is a good one! He's too calm to be a Monkey so far… but no doubt that can all change haha

How cute. What about fitting with your solar system theme, zeke is Arabic for shooting star, sol is the Latin name for sun or Oberon which is the moon of Uranus which consists of rock and ice

Haha yeah, A&B I thought he was exactly like a little cloud. But then I read that nimbus is a dark storm cloud… I’m probably overthinking it.

I like the sun theme too Eddyw. Then I’ve got a moon, a star and a sun Oberon is a great name too though.

What about Comet? Or Nebulus (the fuzzy part) lol. Also, this is pretty cool; there is a meteor shower from the constellation Leo a few days ago! The meteors are called Leonids. http://www.cometwatch.co.uk/leonid-meteor-shower-2017/
Would Leonid be pronounced like Leonard, I wonder?

Aelius : derived from Greek word meaning “sun”
Apollo : god of many things including the sun
Samson: means sun in Hebrew
Sol : Spanish for sun
Ravi : Hindu sun god
Ra : Egyptian sun god
Cyrus : Old Persian for sun
Kyros : The Sun

I like Samson and Apollo , but there is something about Ravi and Kyros I like too

Atlas and aelius do sound great together
That theme gives you options for future buns too… wind (alizeh , reva , aria ) water earth names , solar system , comets names ( Halley , Holmes , Hartley , Bennett )

Leo is very cute with the lion association
What about Aslan ? Lyon or kesar means lion , Kosey African for lion ,

I must admit that the name question doesn’t interest me so much as the little one’s ears. I know he’s only 11 weeks old, but those must be among the smallest ears I’ve ever seen on a rabbit!

They’re typical lionhead ears cute little triangles. He’s extremely small all round though, due to being a dwarf.

He is such a sweet bunny. He binkies around like a crazy thing, then comes to snuggle up for cuddles. 

Thought this was a good time to update with him in all his chunky 700 gram (1.5 pound) glory. (We had stopped on the way back from the vets, he was secured in a carrier for the journey!)

Awwwwww how adorable, i would have named him Cotton or Q-Tip, due in part to the white color and just to have a diffrent name than the norm. Love the name Nimbus you chose. Dont you just love it when he binkies there so cute when these tiny little ones binky there so fast and silly.
