I bought new nail clippers today that have a spring in them. I managged to cut most of the nails on zeus’ front paws! 4 on 1 paw, 3 on the other.

I was wondering if there is a way to get to the inner most nails, which would be his “thumbs” on the front paws and access to his feet.

I didnt have him in a burrito or tranced, he just laid in a semi loaf and i held his paws, i tried getting his feet out, but he pulls them back in, his feet are strong! I tried the burrito but he just escapes, so im at a loss on how to clip his feet nails and the inner nails on both front paws.

I need as many suggestions and techniques as possible ?

For the dew claw as it’s called, I usually have Wick on the ground, I pet him to a loaf, have him between my legs, and just pick up the paw so it goes above his head so I can reach it. For one side, this makes it easy because my nail clipping hand is on his head, calming him and securing him. You don’t need to pull the paw up far, so you’re not over extending the rabbit’s joints at all.
