I finally got to pick up my bun today! He is a 4(ish) month old tort lionhead and super cute!! His name is Alfie . He seems like he’ll be an inquisitive bun as he’s been sniffing around everywhere. After he was sniffing around the corners of his cage a bit, I left the cage door open but he chose not to come out, so we’ll see if he wants to play tomorrow. I’ve been thoroughly researching everything to do with bunnies for the past few weeks/months so I’m super excited that I finally have him!!

He’s so adorable! It’s very good to hear that you’re letting him explore on his own terms. This is very important in the beginning: a rabbit needs his/her time to get comfortable in their new surroundings and with their new human. The more you’ll let him come to you, the more trust you’ll build. I hope you’ll have a wonderful time together!

Hes adorable! It definitely takes some adjusting for the bunny. So don’t take it personally. He’s so lucky to have you! Congrats. I am a new bunny mom myself.
