Christmas is coming up and i dont know what to do. I have an artifical christmas tree and rabbits that may chew it. I’ve decided not use lights but am worried if the rabbits do chew on it, will it hurt them? Thankx

Both artificial trees and tinsel/garland can be quite hazardous if ingested. When I had my free roaming boy, I put a playpen around the tree so that he couldn’t get to it. I originally tried without the playpen but he showed an interest in nibbling the tree and of course the light string was also a concern.

Yes, I’m not putting a Christmas tree where my bun bun can get to it this year. Was a concern for me too.
