I’ve been thinking of getting a rabbit play pen but I’m scared of them climbing over the edges and jumping off as they get done that before. Would i need to add a roof on the play pen and if i do what shoukd i use as the roof? Ty

You could put a sheet across the top and secure it with clips or pegs. Just be sure to put the sheet on tightly, with no part dipping

They can jump atleast twice their own stretched out length!!! A puppy pen is another idea so you wont have to have a roof on it. Just buy one high enough

I have a play pen for my rabbit and she doesn’t even think about climbing or jumping over! As long as its not too short, you shouldn’t have a problem!

A pen over 3feet should be fine so they cant jump over it. But if theyre good climbers, youre going to want to use a lid. You can buy an xpen cover to use as a top for an xpen. Alternately, use DIY grids and zip ties and make your own

Just fyi, the play pens made for dogs rather than rabbits come in a variety of heights, so you could pick one appropriate for your bunnies. If there is one particular spot that they escape, because of some rabbit “furniture” in their habitat or something, you could get some of those wire NIC panels and clip them up as needed. (I had to do this in one spot, but my bun hasn’t escaped since)
