my bunny is in the process of shedding right now and fur is aaallll around my room but whenever i seem to brush him i can never seem to get any of the shed fur off of him? i have tried several different brushes and a comb (i use it very very lightly, i don’t want to hurt him) nothing seems to work?

when i wet my hand down and pet him a lot of loose fur comes off so i know he still needs grooming. however i noticed when i pet him against the grain of his fur a lot more comes out. i was wondering if it was acceptable to groom him with a brush against the grain or if that would hurt or irritate him too much. he doesn’t seem to mind it but i just wanted to check.

Hi! When rabbits shed they ReaLLy shed! A lot of people here use grooming gloves which I will be getting soon as well, the bristles are soft so it’s gentler on your rabbits skin, maybe try one of those?
