Oh that is sad, im sorry. How long ago what this one born then? Is it in the nest and moving at all? Pink in colour?
          Is the mother doing okay?

I went through this when I took in a rabbit that was pregnant. Then first one born was fine but the 3 after were all stillborn. It was hard to see.

They were quite a bit bigger and the mother was a dwarf bunny. I think they were too big for her to birth safely.

The surviving kit thrived. She didn’t have to share the milk with other kits and the Mum was quite attentive to her.  That “kit” is 5yrs old now.

Is the mother nursing her remaining kit? If so, the kit’s belly should be plump and round. It’s very important that the kit be kept as warm as possible because they usually draw warmth from their littermates.
