Currently I️ have two Midwest brand bunny cages that are 37x19x20, and the floor isn’t wire, it looks like it buts it’s a plastic bottomed wire looking bottom. Cleaning up the under tray is becoming a hassle for too many reasons to count, and I’ve been getting concerned about them getting sore hocks. Would it be alright to buy some vinyl tile and put it in their cages? I️ feel like it would be so useful overall. I️ know the size of their cages isn’t ideal, and I’d love to get them the KW cages bunny villa because it’s so roomy, but money. So thoughts on the vinyl?

Not sure. Do you mean like the vinyl that’s used for human flooring, and where they cut it to fit, or a different type? I use a vinyl floor remnant for my bun’s exercise run (attached to her cage), but not in her cage itself. So far, she’s never tried to eat it and it’s worked really well. I rubbed all of the remnants like a weirdo to pick the one with the roughest texture for her to run They are also very affordable compared with large seagrass mats. But I’m nervous about letting her have unsupervised access to the edges of it.

I’ve seen people suggest seagrass mats and the like for what you want, but those were a bit pricy for something that I know my bun is going to eat. You might want to look into it if yours are less chew-y, though.
