  So stitches testicle’s dropped and I set an appt to get him neutered. But when I brought him in for the exam before the neuter the vet says that he has some worries about his heart and going under anesthetic bc he has an arithmea and we need more test done but because of this neutering looks like it is off the table. Anyone else have experience with a free roam male rabbit who is not neutered?? He is an extrorienarly calm rabbit who is never spooked aND is like bomb proof and is extremely affectionate and nice and has never even nipped and loves being cuddled and held. I just don’t want to have to confine him when he hasn’t been caged since he was 5 weeks old.

  I do remember some members here having single, intact boys that were never a problem. One was for about 6 yrs I think, then the owner got him desexed when she got another rabbit.
  
  Since his testicles have only just descended, you may start to see some hormonal behaviours for a while. He’s a large breed right? Maybe re-visit neutering once he’s grown some more, if you prefer he is done.

  Well that’s a releif. Yes he is a large breed. And I will definately want to neuter if possible. Considering I already paid for him to have it done. Lol

  Yes they will but I may just have them keep it as a credit for if anything goes wrong with him the money is there and not spent by me. Lol I am horrible at saving money.

  The tests they are suggesting are covered by what you paid already or would you need to pay more for that?
