Buttercup has nibbled a tiny bit of my wooden door that had a splash of paint on it. Is this toxic??

Monitor to see how it travels through the system. Any changes in behavior should be noted, but after a day passes and if nothing seems askew, it was probably a small enough quantity not to cause harm. Encouraging hay and water may help aid it in passing through.

Do you live in an older house? The main concern I would think would be lead in the paint, although with such a small amount I still wouldn’t be too concerned. Lead paint was phased out of US homes by the 1960’s, early 70’s. I’m not sure about the UK, but I would guess some sort of similar timeline.

That issue aside, Thor was able to nibble some paint off our doorframe before we properly bun-proofed it. Like Wick said, I monitored her for the next few days but she never showed any ill effects

It’s a fairly oldish house but the painted walls was done a year or so ago by my Mum so the paint should be lead free! It’s been about 20 hours now and she’s fine, woo! Phew. I’ll be sure not to leave her in the bedroom unsupervised in case she tries again.
