I am considering switching from Carefresh to Yesterday’s News. First though I want to hear other people’s experiences and what they think is the better litter for rabbits. One question I have is how the 30 pounds compares to the 60 liters. Would I receive more litter by using Yesterday’s News.

I would honestly reccomend wood pellets. I can’t get hold of wood stove pellets (I’ve never seen them?!) so I use a wood pelleted cat litter. I was using carefresh before and it was just too expensive. I was spending £40 per month on it whereas I only have to spend £15 per month with the cat litter. Just make sure it’s non clumping and doesnt have any scent added to it,

I use wood stove pellets. They are for heating houses, so they’re sold in like home improvement places, but not all stores stick them over summer. Feed stores usually have variants used for bedding in horse stables. It’s cheap, absorbs moisture and smell well and can be composted.

I vote wood stove pellets (AKA horse stall pellets)

I used to use carefresh and liked it, but the wood stove pellets are way more economical.
