I lost my sweet Oreo back in May and never really got the chance to let my emotions just go. No one around me knows I still cry about the loss of my baby boy. I had only had him for a short 7 weeks. When suddenly one morning we woke up and he was just sitting there not eating, not drinking. I called the vet as soon as they opened and I made an appointment for that day, but she couldn’t tell me what was wrong with him. She gave me some liquid food to try and get him to eat and an antibiotic in case there was an infection we couldn’t see. I had to force feed him because he wouldn’t eat willingly. It broke my heart to have to force him to eat. I went to work that night but all i could do was think about him hoping and praying he would pull through, but not long after I got him from work. My sweet boy was gone. At only 4 months old, he was gone way to soon. He never really got to live at all, but he had the best 7 weeks he could of ever had.

I’m very sorry for your loss. Oreo went much too young. I’m glad he got to have 7 wonderful weeks with you, I only wish you’d have got more time together. It’s quite ok to still cry over a beloved pet. We miss them so much.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I can completely relate. I had a little 5 month old bunny that I adored and lost without any answers. It is so very hard, even when they are with us just a short time.
