Yay for cooler weather!

Ahmagherd, we’ve got a cool spell here in Floriduh for a change, and I love it!  Not only can I go outside without bursting into flames, our buns are a LOT more animated and earlier in the day.  We’re seeing Clover and Dawn engage in lots more “chase me’s”, Binkies, Zoomies, and afterwards, flops.  They’re running up on the couch and loveseat, hopping on boxes, and just having a ball.

And at night, after we go to bed, Dawn sneaks her little boopie butt into my recliner and spends the night sleeping there.  She doesn’t think I know, but the mass of boople pooples I find in the seat the next morning gives her away.  Not sure if she’s there because she misses me, or because she thinks she’s the real boss here, but it’s cute.

Starting to get cooler here in Virginia too; the warm-to-hot season seems now to run roughly May-October. I think Panda and Fernando are starting to get livelier; I know that domestic rabbits especially relish temperatures ranging from the 50’s to the 60’s, and it’s been in the upper 60’s in my apartment in recent nights (time to turn on the heat soon).

Hooray for cooler weather! I know I’m much more animated in the winter as well Temp in the 40s this morning in the northeast, downright crisp!

Question about fall weather: I’m thinking of brining in a pile of leaves from our outside tress for Thor to play in, good idea? bad idea? Are there any leaves I should really avoid that are poisonous? I know there are no sprays or anything on the trees so that should be fine, and I’ll only pick up fresh ones not rotten old ones.

Our weather has been alittle whacky its been rain rain rain and gloomy cold and now the sun is finaly out but the weather is chilly we were supose to make it up into the 70’s but never did and now have a cold front in today very windy and chilly but atleast the sun is out for now there talking very cold weather headed this way for next week sometime, its time for us to get the wood stove going, been using the propane heat for the past weeks chilly temps. Durring late fall and winter months we use the wood stove to heat this huge house, we have the wood stove hooked up to the heater ducts that way it blows the heat thruout the house. Our trees are past peek color and most leafs will be done falling within the next 2 weeks. Hubby has been out there leaf blowing the front property the past week now he dont want it to build up to much to where the leaf blower wont push the leafs so he works on it each day.

I love Fall. I could never live anywhere that is hot all the time. I hate the heat. I don’t notice my buns acting any different when the temp changes.

I’m with you, LPT. I like the cooler seasons.

We had 3 warm days here this week and I did end up putting the evap cooler on.

Fall is so depressing. Cooler weather really bums me out. Why? Because I hate winter and I know once fall gets here, it’s just a matter of time. I hate the cold, the darkness, and the snow. I hate snow.

Oh and another reason to hate fall… three words: Minute pirate bugs! Agh! You can’t even enjoy the nice weather right now. They swarm all over you and bite. It really hurts when they bite. I have bites all over me from today because we had to work in the field today. Each time I’d get back in the truck, I would be covered head to toe with bugs.

Ohhh I hate hot weather so much. I could never live somewhere that is constantly above 70!  I live in PA; I love winter.  I love having 4 seasons.  Summer is actually my least favorite.  I could go without it completely

I am not missing the cooler weather at all! I just love summer. Sure there’s bugs, and some days are so hot that you can’t go outside without bursting into flames. But I just love the light. Light is happy. Winter is dark, and gloomy and extremely demotivating. Summer is just wonderful

Fall is not depressing here, it’s breathtaking!!! At least for a little while. It does get kind of dreary looking when all the leaves are gone. And I don’t like when it starts getting dark around supper time.
