Our Cookie got neutered yesterday and he’s worrying me. He is already a very very finicky eater and for the past 12 hours he acts like he’s going to eat, takes a bite or 2 then stops. He was neutered around 9 am yesterday and I waited to let him out of his condo until late evening to get him moving to see if he’d poop, he typically poops more in the early am and pm when we let him have free run, so I gave him most of the day confined but let him out to see if he would poop and eat. He took a few bites of hay, out of concern we offered him some pellets and he ate a few then stopped. He pooped some during this mornings play time today and I bought him some of his favorite compressed hay but he is still acting like he could care less about eating. His water is barely touched but I do see a urine spot in his litter box.

Is it too soon to be freaking out? We are new to owning a bunny and the only bunny vet is almost an hour away.

        Thank you!
