You’re just a climbable surface that’s slightly higher than the floor. Perfectly normal. It doesn’t have anything to do with dominance or anything.

Clover has done this when I was petting her, and I dropped my glasses. I kneeled down to get them, and she jumped up on the couch and onto my back. Wasn’t so bad, despite her 15# weight. What bothered me was when she laid down and made it clear she was going to nap there!

Fernando enjoys climbing across my back from heel to shoulders when I lie down on my front during evening floor sessions. I’m trying to get Panda to feel comfortable enough to do the same thing.

My bunny does that, too! I agree with the other people here, and think that sometimes the rabbits want to include us in their play, and this is one way they can think of to do it. Mine will sometimes run laps, starting and stopping each lap on my lower back But dang, Bladesmith, mine does not weigh 15 pounds!

Thanks for the help. He is very cute when he does that?

She’s a big girl.  I honestly think she’s got some Giant Chin in her.  But very much a lady, thank you.  LOL.

Addison has started doing this also, I think they just have fun and want to play with us.

Chewie sometimes naps on mine. It’s just another item in a bun’s cuteness repertoire.

My bunny does this but won’t do it to my husband- I think it’s a play thing they do when they trust you, as he usually does it when we’ve been playing tig. He also likes to join me when I’m doing yoga by climbing on me!
