So my partner and I moved house two days ago. We brought our bun, Toby, over last, after our room was unpacked as that’s where she roams. My problem is now that she’s clearly very unhappy. She’s stopped using her litter box and is peeing all over her cage and hiding all day long. She’s a lion head so with all that long fur it has been collecting her pee and is starting to form mats. I’ve been cutting them off as I see them and cleaning out her safe space daily but I feel so bad. Is there anything more that I can do for our little sweet baby girl? I love her so much and hate seeing her in this state. I know she will eventually become comfortable here but for the time being, do you guys have any tips and trick on how to make a move easier on bun?

Poor bunny! Do you have anything that smells like the old house? I assume she has her toys and things, but maybe a blanket? I wonder if the previous occupants had another animal and the smell of that is distressing her?

You could also line her cage with puppy pads, so that the pee gets immediately soaked up at least.

You shouldnt let her have full roam of the room yet; shes not settled in. You have to kind of treat it like you just got her. Keep her confined to her cage for a few days so she can get used to her new surroundings, and then slowly expand her space with pens/gates (as shes comfortable) until she has full roam again
