Hi everyone, i hope you can help me in this matter, ive had my bunny “Tulio” for over two years now and im still not sure what breed he is yet, ive heard a lot of mixed opinions but not one that i feel that really matches him.

When i first got Tulio the owner told me that he was a lionhead and holland lop mix and that evebtuslly his ears would drop..well that never happened, which im not upset about cuz i think he’s beautiful as he is.

Please help me determine my beautiful tulio breed

Here you can have a look at a few pics of him

He does look like a mix. He has some English Spot in him (see my avatar), maybe some rex. His fur is longish, though, and I am not familiar with longer haired breeds.

He looks strikingly like my own buns, especially the female, Panda, except that his spots are brown instead of black (the pattern is known as “broken”). Panda and her son Fernando are of the Polish breed, probably purebred, and depending on how big Tulio is, I’m wondering if that’s a possibility. How much does he weigh? Polish buns tend to weigh between 2 and a half pounds to 4 pounds full-grown.

He looks a lot like a Rhinelander mix (my girl Bertha in my profile pic is Rhinelander)! He’s got that “caramel drizzle” on his back.

And Rhinelanders are closely related to English Spot!

He is prob mixed with a smaller breed based off his size and ear size, so quite possible a holland lop or lion head, or a dwarf. I think tons of mixed breed rabbits have some dwarf in them…. like how most mutt dogs have chihuahua and/or lab in them.

He certainly is gorgeous, just like my Bertha
