Bombur and Asriel have been neutered for over two months. They had gotten excellent with their litter habits. Recently, I covered up an area in our room with a blanket because I know they love to climb all over whatever is underneath and it’s like an adventure for them. Since putting the blanket down, Bombur has been spraying the blanket, and both buns have been leaving pops everywhere! They had gotten so good! They’d hop right to the litter box to pop and pee. And now the entire room is constantly covered in poo again. Just like before their neuters. Any advice? I’d hate to take the blanket away because they love it so much, but this is awful.

Are you still in the process of bonding or are they fully bonded? I know that when I was prebonding, I had a poop war going on with Ophelia’s blanket. He would come out and poop on it. Then when they switched and she came back into her room she would poop on it… and cycle repeated lol

That’s exactly what they do BunNoob! They didn’t do it when I didn’t have the blanket out. But now it’s like they’re arguing over who gets custody of the blanket while they’re in the bonding processes.

              Silly buns

Luckily neither of them did any peeing on her blanket, just poops. But, they peed all over his blanket! Which was kept on the floor tucked under the baby gate because they kept digging at the carpet. Ophelia is 3 months post spay and she will still go poop and pee in his sandbox. so rude!!

I agree that you have a custody battle on your hands lol. When I get new blankets, I get them each a new one! They aren’t bonded yet, so maybe I wont have to keep getting 2… but for now I like them to match lol
