My 7 week old holland lop bunny is able to easily escape her playpen by squeezing out through the wires. Are there any tips on how to bunny proof the play pen?

To be candid, it might be better (if you can afford it) to just get a new playpen/exercise pen with a smaller grid. How large is the grid in your current playpen?

You can use zip ties or string and put some pieces of plastic, cardboard etc. against the panels. Be very observant about chewing and eating though. If your rabbit isn’t prone to chewing, you can probably just use pieces of paper (maybe 3 per panel, layered) and she’ll give up after realizing she can’t get through.

I’m considering that. The one I have currently is actually a puppy play pen, but all the rabbit play pens I’ve seen seem too small for a bunny to actually play in. The wires are about 1 1/2 inches apart

                I’ll try that. Thanks!
