  We went to Petco today to get Clem a litter scooper and some oat hay before her spay, and we saw him on the table. We asked one of the workers about it and they said their owners abandoned him there, we sexed him for them and it was a boy.
  
  It makes me sad since he was so cute and sweet. By his size and attitude we think he may have been 3-4 months old. Even after being abandoned he was still a happy bun, grooming himself and he really wanted to binky in his cage. I’m sure his current cage is temporary since our Petco never carries rabbits. I wish I could’ve taken him home, but we have enough bunnies already.
  
  If anyone is interested we found him in the Muskogee Petco.

  I hope he gets adopted to a good family, and a family that knows about rabbits. That seems to be a main issue here, most people think rabbits only live for 5 years because of that.

  He does. 😮 We went back today and he wasn’t there, must’ve gotten adopt or moved to a rabbit shelter.

  Awwwe ): I so would have taken him if I lived in that state. I hope he’ll be happy! I can’t believe someone abandoned him at a store….. Like what in the world? That impatient and desperate to get rid of him….?? Poor baby.

  They probably didn’t do research on rabbits and it probably became too much work for them, he was matted when he arrived too, they cleaned him up.
