  So, my bunny Spike is 4 months old, and he’s usually a happy bunny. Today I noticed a cut on his face. It isn’t bleeding or anything, but I’m kinda worried. I heard him grinding his teeth when we wete cuddling on the couch, but he does that sometimes even when he’s not hurt.
  
  I read somewhere that he wouldn’t flop if he was hurt, but he’s still laying down with his legs spread like he always does.
  
  Should I be worried?

  Are you sure the teeth grinding was a signal of pain and not purring? Rabbits purr by grinding their teeth softly which sounds like a soft chatter. Teeth grinding with pain sounds louder and like grinding more so than clicking/chattering.
  
  Does he let you touch the wound? Is it scabbed? Does it look like it is healing?

  As Mikey says, tooth purring is a sound that rabbits make when they’re happy and relaxed, and it seems your bunny is, being pet and lying down all relaxed. A bunny that grinds its teeth in pain looks uncomfortable, often hunched up in a tense position.
  
  How deep is the cut? if it looks good i.e. no swelling, redness or seepage, and the bunny eats well and seems happy, you just keep an eye on the cut.
