Panda, always the more sedate and reserved of my two buns, was nosing around in the X-pen just now looking for hay. Then, all of a sudden, zoom! she broke out into a dash clean around the enclosure in and out of the cardboard tunnel, then went into a spinning jump with quick little head-shake, and *poof* back to normal. Fernando, who’d been in the litterbox, came out to see what all the fuss was about, and I’m mystified myself; I didn’t notice any reason for Panda to get that happy all of a sudden.Right now she’s sitting placidly next to the enclosure hidey box.

I’m pretty certain it was a binky, it matches all the descriptions I’ve ever read and video I’ve seen. I’m just surprised it was Panda who did it first rather than Fernando.

Ahh the first binky <3 You've obviously made her a very happy bun! My bunnies will binky seemingly out of nowhere. They'll be relaxed and calm then suddenly sprint, binky and then relax again sometimes. It's like they are so content they just can't contain themselves! Isn't it one of the most adorable and heartwarming sights? <img src='/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/BB_Theme//emoticons/smile.gif' align="absmiddle" border="0" />

Isn’t it the most entertaining thing?! We have a 5 seat sectional sofa that curves into a “crescent” shape, and I just LOVE when they break into bunny 500s just zooming around the couch A running binky is the best! I see LOTS of flops and binkies in the sandbox. Ophelia will literally just flop, then get up, flop, then get up, flop, then get up… Seriously, I cannot tell you how much that investment was so worth it!!!!!!!!!

Binkies are the greatest! Especially when accompanied by zoomies!!!!

I don’t get to see many binkies as Bindi is a senior and my big boy is lazy. But when I see one I always get excited.

Binkies are the best! Terry is the only one of mine who does them regularly – and that is often aimed at Greebo as a form of passive aggressiveness – “Look how happy I am! I’m happier than you!”. He used his playpen walls as a launch pad and went crazy doing them off them walls. Then flopped. Then got up. Then flopped again. Then more binkies. Take that Greebo!

I hope your bun continues to do many more binkies!

Aww… it’s one of the most heartwarming things buns do. Glad you witnessed it. And why shouldn’t Panda be happy? She has a lovely home, with family who loves her.
