My bunny Sugar jumped out of my arms and fell. Her head tilted and she started uncontrollably spinning and rolling on a flat surface. She’s acting normal now, but I’m worried. What should I do??

What surface did she fall onto and how high?

You’ll want to monitor her behaviors:
          1) Eating
          2) Drinking
          3) Pooping
          4) Peeing
          5) Relaxed when still v. hunched when still
          6) Presence of Teeth Grinding

Considering it was a fall, also check if her mouth movements are the same when she’s chewing food. Additionally, glance and see if her eyes look any visibly different.

The safe bet is always a vet check, but either way, take note of anything odd or generally different about those items, plus any either.

Actually, running in circles and rolling after a hard hit like that is a sign of pain and possible damage (ranging from a small sprain to permanent nerve damage). Youll need to see a vet ASAP

You should call a vet, describe what happened, how long ago it was and how she’s acting now. They might want to see her, or they’ll tell you to just keep an eye, depending of how the whole thing sounds to them. Is she willing to take a treat from you?

To be candid, I’ve made up my mind never to attempt to pick up one of my own buns unless I’m kneeling or sitting close to the floor so that they can jump down with minimal risk. Get your own bun to the vet ASAP!

Hi I know this is from a while ago, but she is fine. She was acting normal and she saw a vet a few weeks later. Thanks for the help!!
