I have been on vacation since Monday, so my mother in law has been looking after my two bunnies.
Thursday night I receive the horrible news that my baby girl Donna, only 1 year old, has passed away.. I was and still am shocked, and my vacation is not over until Thursday next week..
She seemed fine and was acting normal, eating, drinking and hopping around right until she passed.
She was sitting in my mother in laws lab, just getting some head rubs, when she suddenly started having a seizure and 5 seconds later she was dead..
She was vaccinated against RVHD2 and was sterilized.. What could be the cause of her so untimely death?

        Sincerely
        A devastated rabbit owner :'(

I’m very sorry for your loss, it’s heartbreaking coming home from a holiday to news such as that, I’ve had it happen to me. It’s so hard to know what the cause of death could be, since there are a lot of possibilities and any ideas would only be speculation.

            Binky free, Donna.
