Just wondering if there is a reason for this? Buttercup always nibbles the bowl before drinking from it. I think maybe she’s ‘testing’ or ‘checking’ that it’s the water bowl. Is this normal or is this a Buttercup quirk?

Thor never does this, but I’ve been noticing our new bun, Boo, will nibble all around one edge of the bowl before taking a drink. I thought it was strange as well, but good to know others have seen it! Maybe it’s a white bunny thing

Ha! Maybe it is a white bun attribute

Buns can’t see right in front of their noses, so maybe they’re determining bowl position or water level before sipping??

That makes a lot of sense!
