My 9 week old bunny, Lola, and I really started bonding today. She licked me and she was crawling all over me and even did a half binky, when before she wouldn’t let me touch her. Earlier today during this time I was offering her pieces of carrot and hay which she happily touch from me and ate. Right after she crawled on me a little more, I offered her another piece of hay which she took out of my fingers, threw to the side, and started biting my finger. she did this multiple times and it hurt a little but not much. I don’t know if this was an agression bite, a affectionate nibble, or neither?

It was probably because she wanted carrots, not hay. I would caution against giving her carrots until she’s older. Carrots are much more treats than a veggie for her diet. Keep her diet to large majority hay and pellets.

She probably got confused because she could smell the carrot on your fingers.

As the others said, she was probably looking for more carrot, and your finger may have seemed carrot-sized

Carrots are higher in sugar so they are really more of a treat than a veggie snack. Also, it’s recommended not to start bunnies on veggies until 3 months of age.

I figured you’d say that. She’s got Ophelia ears, only white instead of black.  And indeed she’s a little cutie; she reminds me of Fernando’s littermate Blanca, who’s pretty much his fraternal twin.
