Hi, I’ve had my rabbit, Rufus, for 3 years now. He’s doing great, and we have A TON of toys for him and give him a few rooms to play in daily. He even has a play house in my room. However, he often gets bored and sits in the corner half the time and I don’t no how to get him occupied. His cage is also a condo that has lots of toys and a tunnel. I’ve gotten so much for him- maybe it’s just his personality? Any advice on activities for him?

Buns are usually pretty laid back during day time hours. Mine sleep most of the day and kick up some zoomies in the evening/morning. You could try some little foraging ideas. hiding food around making him search for it.

You might be better posting this in behaviour more people see it

It could be that your bun is just very laid back! How much time out of his cage does he get? And at what times? Buns are usually not particularly active during the day so it’s possible he’s doing binkys and going crazy whilst you’re asleep early morning or evening

Go back and forth in a room, crinkling a bag at each end, haha.

One of the things that helps is knowing what your rabbit enjoys. I recently found out Wick thinks he is a predator, so he likes to stalk, and weirdly enjoys being followed/stalked. We’ll kind of play a hide-and-run away deal around my small living space. Sounds like I’m misinterpreting him freaking out, but rest assured he enjoys it, haha. His binkying is quite dynamic and consistent when we do this. My main take away has been, if I want Wick to be active, I need to be active. If I spend the weekend lounging, he will too; it’s a healthy, exercise-dependent play relationship!
