  I had been using peat moss soil, which is great, but very dirty and also often full of little bugs and lice -unless you freeze it, only I dont have freezer space to be shoving bags of dirt into!!
  
  I ttried to use shredded paper, but Peep decided it was a buffett to be gorged on, and I DONT want him eating more non food stuff!
  I’ve read about sand being used, and Im not sure if Im sure it wont lead to more heartache.
  
  Im stuck! I want them to be able to dig (seeing as I kjnow they love it) but I dont know what’s best to do here-anyone have any suggestions?

  Have you tried those colourful plastic balls for kids’ ball pits?
