So Dulce has been great about litter training. I had blocked her off from two corners in my place because they both had cords and corners she was peeing in. I just got covers for the cords and put a litter box in the corner. Within 5 minutes of being allowed to go into the area, she got into the litter box, backed her butt into the corner and peed right behind it. She’s clearly willing to go in a box so I think I just need to find the right one. What do you guys recommend?

        The area in question

The other question I have is does anyone have any tips on getting hay and fur out of rugs? I have a tiny handheld vacuum and it doesn’t seem to be cutting it. Every time I sit down near her cage my butt is COVERED in rabbit fur!

Caught her trying to get into my yarn basket

Yes, you’ll definitely need a litter box with higher sides. They pop their tails up quite high when they pee. She shouldn’t have a problem with getting in a higher box either, if that second pic is anything to go by.

A rectangular cat box that is deeper will work. Or litterboxes made for ferrets.
None of what I use were actually sold as litter boxes. You can get plastic basin type boxes, totes, storage containers from variety stores.

For the rugs, something like the pet magnet in the Binky Bunny store would be worth a look.

I just purchased a rubber broom with a squeegee blade on it and that part helps father fur and hay off my carpet.
