What size of pen should I get?

  In a couple weeks I’m going on vacation for 1 week and will be getting someone to come feed my bunny. I’m also getting someone to come let him out to play but only 3 days out of the 7 and it won’t be for 10 hours like I normally take him out for it will only be 30 min-1 hour. His cage is the living world deluxe habitat in the biggest size and he also has a pen attached to it. But he’s figured out have to escape. So I can’t leave that out on vacation. He would only have his small living world cage which is far to small to keep him in. And I don’t want to keep him in the pen since it wouldn’t be big enough. So I was thinking of buying another pen (bigger then I have) one that has wire sides like a normal pen but with a mesh or cloth roof so he couldn’t escape by jumping over it. So I’m wonder what size of pen I should get.
  
  I found one that is 36 inches in height and it has 8 panels which are each 24 inches. Is this big enough?
  
  Also if it’s big enough could I make the pen his cage and sell the living world?

  Eh I can’t do inches but my bun’s pen is 1 square meter at the base and has 1 meter tall sides (custom made). His cage is attached to it and secured with metal wire. So in total he has little less than 2 square meters worth of ground to himself for when I can’t let him out

  If the xpen walls are to be grids (rather than solid, i found my bunny jumped up a solid panel a bit like a cat jumping up a wall, but didnt when it was a ‘hollow’ grid panel) i go on that the height should be twice the entire length of your outstretched bun.
  
  36 inches is 96 cm so if bunny is quite small or not a jumper that should be fine.
  
  Re xpen becoming permanent home YES ! Although bunnies sometimes like a hideyhole (cardboard /wooden box) or somewhere to use as a base (litter tray / toys / food) so if you only have the xpen, you should provide some of these things too which will help him feel at home and also prevent boredom

  Thanks! I will be ordering the pen soon and hopefully it will arrive before vacation.
