I heard that digging boxes or a sandbox would be a great addition to the bunny condo, but my female bunny gets mad about mess. We tried hay and bits of fruit and vegetable in an empty paper towel roll, but no one seemed like a fan.Any idea for a play feature?

My female bun loves to dig, but we also didn’t want dirt or sand everywhere! Instead, we give her fleece blankets to dig in and re-arrange. It is nice since they are washable, fibers are too short to be eaten, and not very messy.

Other toy ideas, since they have wire walls you can hang wooden chew toys for them. Many bird toys are acceptable for rabbits, as long as there are no sharp edges and avoid the ones with cuttlebone.

My bun also loooves slinkys. These are more of a supervised toy though.
