I work with an animal rescue.  We took in a Mom and her 2 day old babies.  When advertising for adoption, I want to be accurate on breed and color.

What do you call a salt and pepper colored rabbit?  I’m sure that’s not the correct term but we have black, we have white, we have brown, Mom is a dutch mix.  There were 4 black babies and 2 turned to more of a salt and pepper color, like a mix between black and white.

I’ve included pics of the babies and Mom.

Sadly I do not see the pictures, to attach the pictures in line make sure to click “Add picture to post” after you upload it.

baby bunnies are hard to identify but the rule of thumb is that depending on the male they will always take genes and colors from mommy and daddy.

Tried a few times to add pics but apparently was never successful 🙂  We do not know who Daddy is.  Mom’s not talkin.  Hopefully it works this time.  Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Normally there is an “insert image” icon next to to uploaded file name. I took a look at the attachments and that icon isn’t present. It is probably due to the length of the file name or that it has symbols in it. Try saving the photos with a simpler name and upload them again. Then click on the insert image icon.

                HTH !

Will be interested to see the picture, but you also get rabbits that are usually mostly white with black spots and splodges etc. That colour is called broken black.

I uploaded pics and clicked + Add to Post and they are showing under Current Attachments so I’m not sure what else to do 🙁 There are columns for Create Thumbnail, Insert Image, Display Link? and Delete but the only one with something to click is Delete.

That looks like gold tipped steel to me.

I’m inclined to agree that it looks like gold-tipped steel. Lovely colour
