        Hi guys!

I’m a bunny mom to an almost 1 year old mini lop! He LOVES running around the house all day but for times when I’m not home, I have yet to get him toys to play with in the cage. I’m not super familiar with what all is out there. I was also wondering if anyone had suggestions on a great, reasonably priced play pen so he can come out and study with me this summer, either on the deck or in the grass. Probably something with a cover so I don’t have to worry about anything grabbing him or him jumping out, and maybe something that won’t get too hot.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions!

Some good toys that my bun really enjoys are tunnels. I have a alfalfa hay tunnel he likes and a cheap cat tunnel from the dollar store that he absolutely loves! So I would definitely recomend tunnels especially the cat tunnels you can get at the dollar store. If you don’t have a dollar store I’ve seen them on amazon and eBay there just more then a $1 usually around $10. The playpen I own is All Living Things and it’s 16 panels I think it 54 or 56in and it came with pegs that you can pin it down in the ground that are simple and quick and prevent your bun from lifting the pen up. They do sell covers for this playpen but I don’t own one so I’m not sure if they are good or not but my friend has one for the bottom and top and loves them.

We buy these bunny friendly plastic chewable toys- they come cast as corn on the cob, apples and carrots. Banks and Barney LOVE THEM. Banks tries to chew through them as quickly as possible and Barney liked to run around holding one in his mouth. They like them way more than anything wooden or cardboard they’ve given them. That said I would also get them a cardboard box. You can put things in it for them to discover and they can throw it about.
