  I’ve heard and read that some bird toys are safe for rabbits. My bunny loves hanging toys so I wanted to get him a bird hanging toy since I’ve bought him almost every small animal hanging toy I’ve seen and he’s destroyed all but the one I just put in his cage (it will probably be destroyed in 1-2 days). So when I look for bird toys is there somthing I shouldn’t get? Anyone have any suggestions?

  Anything that’s plastic or untreated, safe wood can go!
  I’d avoid metal stuff cause it could hurt their teeth and maybe stuff with little bells, in case the bun is sensitive to sharp noises. My bun doesn’t mind his cat ball with a little bell inside, though.

  My rabbit actually really likes the bells on bird toys She is a lop though, and I think a bit more deaf than normal rabbits. I second the advice to avoid metal toys that have sharp edges

  Also no calcium bricks some bird toys have them to trim their beaks
