        Hi friends

I made a binkybunny account in March after my little princess Grape passed away very suddenly. I kept meaning to join before but never got around to it. I just recently adopted another little bun named Finn so I thought it was the perfect time to become more active on here!

So I adopted Finn from the Vancouver Animal Shelter, he is a lionhead cross but we aren’t sure how old he is. We think he is under 2 years as he is still VERY playful and energetic. He was found in a garbage bin with his friend (unfortunately the friend didn’t make it by the time the shelter found them ) and he had about 4 metal pellets from a BB gun throughout his body which had to be surgically removed. They removed 3 of them but 1 they couldn’t get out safely so it’s still stuck in his shoulder/upper leg and has quite a bit of nerve damage in that leg. BUT that does NOT slow him down at all.

        Everybody meet Finn

What a photogenic, stoic model face Finn has!!

It’s so great and relieving to hear that despite bad beginnings, Finn is with someone very caring. ☺☺☺

            Welcome!

I’m so glad you rescued Finn, he looks like quite the charmer I sometimes can’t believe the cruelty of others, who would shoot a poor defenseless rabbit full of BBs?…

Thor has the same doll bed, its sooo cute when she lays on it, although it’s much harder to get pics of a black bunny, she just looks like a blob here.

Same! I will never understand how someone can do that to a defenseless animal. I knew I had to adopt him and show him the love he deserves. Also, you have a black FEMALE bunny named Thor!! That’s sooo adorable. Does Thor actually sleep on it often? Finn hasn’t really quite figured it out yet haha

Who the $*&! shoots a domestrioc bunny with a BB gun. And then throw them in a bin?! That makes me so angry.

I’m so glad Finn is in a happy home now. My Tony is a Lionhead cross too, they’re super fun!

Sorry to hear about Grape- adorable name! I’m sure Finn will bring you just as much l;ove and happiness <3

Haha it’s a long story, but we thought she would be a boy then we just kept the name because she really fits her character! She is so bossy, but also sweet

She doesn’t really sleep on the bed. She has learned that we find her so cute when she sits on it that we will go pet her instantly. So now she just hops on the bed when she wants attention

That is an awful story. With a very lovely ending.
I have a lionhead mix as well (Chewbacca) who’ll become an Atlantic Canadian in a couple more years when I move back home.

Finn is gorgeous! And you’ll find that the IKEA doll beds are favourites with us BBers

One of our Rescues, Podge, is a lion head mix too glad Finn has such a nice home now, and how clever to use the bed as a ‘pet me’ command
