OMG…My spayed girl, Bun Bun, seems to be heavy shedding OR molting for a long time. (She is around 2 yrs old) She has had a molt before and it was minor compared to this one. There is fuzzy hair balls all over the place. She don’t have any bald spots or thinning of her coat either!

What is going on with her? Im kind of getting worried.

The baby “Teddy” is 4 months old and he is shedding some too. Is he to young to actually molt? He is new to us for about 2 weeks now.

Is there anything I can give Bun Bun to help with the fur flying molt!!!!!? Herbs? Supplements?

        Thanks!

Rabbits seems to go through lighter moults, and then very heavy moults. Apollo and Luna seem to be shedding almost all the time, however they recently went through an extremely heavy period of shedding. Balls of fur everywhere, tufts of fur just falling out seemingly at random. It’s perfectly normal, especially if you’re in the northern hemisphere, coming out of winter they’ll be losing their heavy winter coats.
