My rabbit somehow managed to knock over the baby gate that I thought was in super securely and escaped into the rest of the house which is not bunny safe! Things I saw that were definitely chewed on was a bottle of white craft glue (says non toxic) that he somehow chewed through and spilled everywhere. I don’t know for sure if he did or did not eat any. He also chewed up a thick head phone wire that was not plugged into anything. He knocked over a trash can but I didn’t see any chew marks on anything… he also chewed on furniture, of course.

Does he need to go to a vet asap or can I just feed him plenty of hay and water, and check he is pooping?

        Thank you for your help!

          Wow, bunny rampage!

If he is acting pretty normal now that he is contained again, I think you can probably just observe him and encourage the hay and water. He sounds as if he went for things that appeal to a lot of rabbits. Plastic, wood, cords. Was there anything in the trash can he may have completely eaten? Medication or poisons?  Unsafe foods?

Not sure about that. I did find a Tylenol pill amongst the trash that was tipped but not sure if there was more than one in there. He is acting like his usual hyperactive self right now and has passed at least 20 droppings since he has been returned. I guess i’ll just have to keep a close eye on his behavior.

            Thanks

Sounds like he’s fine, maybe he’s the descendant of the terrible least from Monty python and the holy grail
