I got 2 rabbits (adopted them from Pets at home) Both are siblings crossbreed.

They were doing good and they were scheduled for spay n neutering after few days.

Now they have had their operation and its been 2 days.

The male rabbit Peter is doing ok since he was back home and eating normally though his quantity has reduced.

The female rabbit Lily is not OK

So I took her to the vet yesterday itself as she was not eating. (surgery was day before yesterday.

The vet gave her injections for pain killer and another for gut movement.

I was advised she will start eating today but she is not. I have been feeding her through syringe but she is still not ok.

I am really worried she keeps grinding her teeth. I also gave her oral painkiller today which was given by the vet.

How long will it take for her to return to normal. I am really worried is she going to die

I am really tensed. Any tips and advise will really be helpful.

Poor thing! Do you happen to know what pain relief she was given and the dose? Both the injection and the oral med at home?

Do her ears feel really cold? Putting her on a heat pad of some sort might help. Put a water bowl and food right next to her also, and food, so she doesn’t have to move far for them.

You may have to take her back in to be hospitalised if you are fearing the worst.

Sending out some {{{vibes}}} for your girl!
