Not sure if this is the right section. But what are/are there any significant  behavioral differences between male and female house rabbits? Assuming all conditions equal: spayed/neutered, good health, not abused, etc.

        Life span equal?

With birds I know there are differences between males and females. Wondering if the same is true about bunnies?

Sorry if this question has been asked a million times before (probably has) but I am looking for a fairly quick knowledgeable reply.

Hey there Many of the difference are prior spay neuter. For example the average lifespan of a female rabbit unspayed would be closer to 6 years since they commonly get uterine cancer. However desexed both can live 10-12 years.

As a general rule, females are more inclined to dig simply because in the wild, they dig the burrows for nesting etc. But I haven’t had any trouble with that for my female. I have heard that females can be more territorial and moody, but largely again I think that’s mainly in females that aren’t spayed. My girl is a real sweety, so is my boy If I were to get another, I would have no preference regarding gender.

In spayed/neutered house rabbits, it really all comes down to the individual personality of the rabbit. Some have more challenging personalities than others

I kind of thought that. I looked it up on google but a lot of times what you read isn’t necessarily correct.
