I have had my rabbit Primrose for over nine months right now. I was upstairs and I kept hearing a thumping sound, she was running frantically around the room while thumping. She’s been currently thumping for over 20 minutes. I brought her to another room to relaxer and then I brought her back to her rabbit room. She still kept thumping. I can’t really find out what noise scared her, even when there’s no noise being made she still thumps. How do I calm her down? She’s making me really worried right now.

Okay, she’s actually calmed down and is better now. I was continually petting her and I was hand feeding her pellets since it was dinnertime.

Some rabbits also thump when they are overly excited. If she knew it was dinner time, she could have been reacting to that. If she was scared while doing it though, it couldve been a noise, smell, or even one of her toys moving when she wasnt expecting it
