I know that my 10 month old male rabbit is going to start to develop “urges” as all animals do, but recently (yesterday) he used my boyfriend as a blow up doll lol

How do I minimize him from doing that, I heard people using stuffed animals to let his urges out on, but should I even do that?

If I should give him a stuffed animal, what kind should I get? (synthetic fur or bare? does the type of stuffing matter? basically, whats safe for him?)

He will be nurtured in January so I am just trying to hold him off until then.

        Thank you!!

There’s not too much you can do except to just push him off gently when he starts, but I imagine he will be quite persistent A stuffed animal is a good idea, avoid anything that is a beanie type or has the little beads in the paws etc. A plain stuffed animal with the regular fur, if it has bead eyes it can be worth removing them to prevent a choking hazard if he chews them off. You’ll need to observe for chewing etc, but likely he’ll be too busy to think about chewing it

Thank you for the advice azerane!
Yes, we weren’t hostile or yelling at him, we just kind of pushed him off and made him go into his room (we open the gate and lay down in front of the door to play with him every night) so he gave us an attitude for the rest of the night! haha

No problem Sometimes I think even a rolled up fleece blanket, or a folded pair of big fluffy socks may do the trick too. But you may not want to wear the socks again xD

LOL My Bombur was so similar before being neutered! We had a fleece bear dog toy for him. It was like 3$ from walmart. Just be careful with it. My Bombur humped the toy so much his manhood got slightly rug burned and he had to head to the vet for some mild pain killers
