I have one bunny named Oilver. He’s six months old and very happy. I am going to get him altered soon but I want to get another bunny before he’s fixed. Im getting a 3 month old female in 2 weeks. I was just curious of people’s opinions on how I should house them (obviously not together) so they can sort of bond until I get each of them altered. Thanks!

Until a month after he is fixed, youll want them in their own cages/pens in the same room but on opposite sides. A month after his neutered, you can place them a few inches apart. Be careful with letting one roam the room while they are still unbonded as your girl will likely be able to get pregnant until all of his sperm dries out, and fights can break out between the bars that can become very serious (one of my bunnies had some skin bitten off from his foot because of a fight between bars). After everyone is neutered/spayed, you can start swapping their water bowls/bottles, litter boxes, toys, ect back and forth every day to help get their scents around so they get used to one another faster, then work on bonding in a neutral area
