        What’s that about?

My little bunny, (Beans) keeps jumping in the toilet.

At first I thought it was an accident, so I laughed it off and wiped her down then let her air dry.

But just as she was finally dry, she went into the bathroom again and jumped in the toilet again. Is this normal? Why is my bunny doing this? Does she like water or something?

I have the bathroom door closed, and I hate it because I like her to be able to run around anywhere.

A lot of bunnies like to jump up on things. Probably the first time, she didn’t realize that she would be jumping into a basin containing water, but I’m not sure why she would have jumped up there again. Although, maybe she didn’t remember that there was water in there. In any case, it could be very dangerous for her to jump in the toilet and injure herself, plus there is always the possibility of her getting water in her lungs, or being unable to get out of the slippery toilet bowl, or even drowning, and rabbits shouldn’t be wet anyway, so you definitely have to keep the toilet lid down, or keep her out of the bathroom altogether.

I assume that she has plenty of water to drink, preferably in a bowl, and that she wasn’t jumping in the toilet because she was thirsty.

Some bunnies, like my Olly, do silly things, then go back and do it again because they are curious, leave the lid down and if bunny tries to paw the lid up put something heavy on the lid, or keep bunny out of bathroom.
If you have little ones in the home tell them to close the lid, the door whatever and make sure bunny isn’t in.
Oh my wouldn’t you get a surprise not realising bunny is there and you sat down.
