I have a mini lop and over the past few weeks I have noticed he has a small of fur loss on both his eyes. He doesn’t seem to scratch more often than his usual grooming. It’s on both ears in pretty much the same place.
Has anyone come across this before? He is a house rabbit and not in contact with any other animals.
        Thanks

It would help if you could attach a photo so I could see what you were talking about. Are you sure he’s not grooming anymore or scratching more than normal?

It could be shedding. My mini rex sheds on his ears as well as his entire body when he goes through his molting. It normally grows back to a peach fuzz within a week
