I have a 12 week old bunny that I bought 2 weeks ago. She has sneezed from day one that I brought her home. No discharge and no watery eyes. Very lively, eating and drinking normally. She has had 7 days of baytril to no effect. Still sneezing but still no discharge. Could it be that she just has an allergy and it’s not an infection? Surely 7 days of baytril would have shown some improvement if it was an infection. The sneezing does not seem to bother her at all. Desperate to introduce her to my other bunny but seems like this sneezing issue is never going to resolve!

          Hey

I would be wary of introducing her until you know for sure what’s causing the sneezing.

Bramble has allergies and it took several vet visits to id the cause. In the end we just tried avoiding allergens and all her sneezing and eye problems vanished. They also recur if she meets allergens again.

With her hay is really important, it must be completely dust free. Bramble also reacts to pretty much anything we can smell. Ferbreze on the curtains, scented candles, deodorant, bitter Apple spray etc. Maybe try changing your buns hay and keep her away from smelly things for a while. See if it helps?
