Hello! I’m a new rabbit owner(:
I’ve had her for 6 months, we’re bonded quite well but still getting to know each other too!
Harlow lives in a big doberman size dog cage with 2 levels for her to freely jump and run, move whatnot.
She has plenty of wood chews, toys, a wood house, a stuffy to snuggle (just a little one) and a lot of other tous hanging from her cage.
I take her out for 4-6 hours a day in a pen to run around and play, sometimes inside, sometimes out.
she’s pretty well potty trained (just a corner box) and recently, she’s been destroying her house.
i line it with news paper, and shes been chewing up the paper, throwing her litter everywhere, her blankets for her bed.
just destroying everything. i am getting her neutered soon, and would like some advice on why shes doing this!
she gets fed 2-3x a day, has plenty of entertainment..
i love her so much, but i can’t keep re-cleaning her cage space every day or so.
any suggestions or ideas? should i buy cage liners? is this typical?
she’s very sociable, very friendly, loves to be picked up and snuggled.
        i’m a bit worried?!
        thank you❤️❤️

You say you feed her 2 to 3 times a day, thats just pellets right? And the right amount for her weight? They should always have unlimited hay and water. But onto your question, its a bunnys natural instinct to rip things up and dig You should consider making her a diggy box (a box with shredded paper or hay in it to dig through). It might also get better whenever she is spayed, since she is at that age where hormones run wild in bunnies
