So, I’m new on this site but I’ll get to that later, the reason I signed up was because an incident has been weighing on me. You see, awhile ago I purchased Care Fresh Paper Bedding so that my bun could be comfy in his cage, but my bun isn’t the smartest…He started to eat the bedding. A day passed and when I woke up the next morning, Momo seemed sick…He wouldn’t play outside, he would barely eat and his stomach was hard. I assumed from then until now that the care fresh bedding was the issue. I would just like to inquire if anyone else has had this experience with this particular brand?

I use that brand, and my netherland dwarf seems fine! I hope your bunny gets better.

I never see my bunny eat it though, was it the brown color?

It may have blocked up the stomache, I would call your rabbit vet and ask.
I don’t have a lot of experience with that so another member will have to answer. Sending healing ((vibes)).

Some bunnies eat their bedding. It can happen with most if not all types of bedding. If a bunny eats lots of cardboard or paper, it can cause a blockage. It’s very sad, but it happens sometimes. I’m very sorry it happened to your bunny.
