        Hi everyone!

I thought I’d introduce myself! I’m a college student and a first time bunny mom, and I am soooooo looking forward to it!

        Rabbit Info:

        1. Rabbit names: Po
        2. Rabbit Age: He will be six (6) this Summer, I can’t remember his exact birthday off the top of my head.
        3. How long has your bunny been with you? I’ll actually be going to pick him up on Thursday, but we met last week!
        4. Spayed/Neutered? Unfortunately, no And he has been bred before, so I have to speak with the vet when I take him about whether it is still possible/safe for him to be neutered. I want him to be as healthy as possible!
        5. Rabbit Personality Traits: I haven’t spent a lot of time with him, but he was very shy and sweet when we met him. They told us he’s like that most of the time and likes to crawl in your lap and hang out, but we’ll see what he’s really like once he gets settled with us!

I’m a little bit apprehensive (but mostly so excited) to welcome him into our home. Originally, I wanted to adopt/purchase a younger bunny, but Po just stole our hearts when we met him! I worry because he is an older rabbit and has been living as an outside bunny, and we will be transitioning him to a house bunny, so I’m a little nervous about that! My biggest and most worrying concern is that they did not like how expensive hay was and only feed their rabbits pellets and some fruit and veggie snacks; I’m hoping no big health problems have come out of that or the fact they are kept on wire-bottom cages. I do at least know he has been handled often, and by children so he’s used to a little chaos in that respect. All reservations aside, both us and the current owners think he will fit wonderfully into my home and my excitement continues to grow! He is a Jersey Wooly (so soft!) and that’s him in my avatar picture!

          Very adorable !
I’ve seen Jersey Woolies at the fair. Do you have to brush him on a weekly/monthly basis ?
